As a member of Global Mobility Regional Leadership, the Americas Global Mobility Manager is responsible for executing an effective and efficient end-to-end mobility administration and operations. They will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the expatriate experience. Job Responsibilities include overseeing mobility operational activities for the region including assignment management, immigration support, invoicing and cross-charging, APro operations management; supporting implementation of mobility initiatives such as onboarding new shared services companies, vendors, services, policies, and processes; serving as escalation point and mobility resource for mobility operations and administration; ensuring high quality services by internal mobility teams and external providers; partnering with internal and external vendors and stakeholders to deliver the best mobility experience; approving payroll instructions, vendor invoices, internal cross-charges; providing direction and guidance in support of assignment management; administering and ensuring compliance with Hitachi policies, immigration laws, tax regulations, and other compliance requirements; ensuring completeness and accuracy of mobility information for compliance and reporting; staying connected with stakeholders to understand mobility needs and reviewing assignment policies and processes; supporting change management plans; collaborating with Mobility Program Management and Compliance colleagues to optimize policies, vendors, systems, and processes; driving continuous process improvement and assignee experience. Requirements include at least 7 years of experience administering or overseeing end-to-end mobility services, knowledge of assignee life cycle management, understanding of global mobility vendors and processes including expense management and cross-charging, working knowledge of assignee tax and immigration, ability to work cross-functionally and in ambiguous environments, excellent time management and organizational skills, self-motivation, ability to manage sensitive information, mentoring and coaching skills, strong interpersonal and project management skills, excellent communication skills, and comfort working onsite at least 2-3 days per week.
