AMS SUPPORT ANALYST 6 MONTH + CONTRACT TO HIRE 3 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE IN AUBURN HILLS, MI HOURLY RATE: $50/hr. W2 C2C IS OK ALTA IT Services is seeking an AMS Support Analyst with 7+ years of experience to support an Auburn Hills, MI-based automotive customer. This is a 6-month+ contract-to-hire assignment. Hybrid 3 days a week, onsite at an automotive customer in Auburn Hills, MI.
REQUIRED SKILLS - Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug, and arrive at solutions
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Hands-on, Self-driven, solution-oriented, and customer-focused
- 5+ years of AMS support experience
- Ability to query system logs and debug issues
- Understand System integration concepts and especially API specifications
- Ability to create flow diagrams to create an operational view of the functionality
- Strong exposure to the automotive domain, preferably in the area of Connected Vehicles
- Strong technical background demonstrating solid understanding of IT systems and ability to support them
- Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation
- Performing operational tasks like monitoring, analysis, reporting, and promptly attending to issues
- Communications for any outages/incidents that affect the user community
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders for driving the issues towards closure
- Analyze incidents and come up with improvement ideas to avoid incidents and reduce inflow
- Perform system administration tasks, e.g., certificate management, product version tracking, and upgrade support etc.
- Any programming background is a plus
- Experience working in agile/scrum methodology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Years of Experience: 7+ is the IT field / 5 in an AMS Support Role
