This role requires leadership experience in law enforcement or security, managing Armed Security Forces, and interacting with government personnel to ensure contract compliance. Multiple positions are available at different Washington, D.C. locations (DOT HQ, Orville Wright Federal Building, Wilbur Wright Federal Building). Job Duties Perform duties as specified in the contract and Post Orders for assigned security posts. Ensure armed guards are properly uniformed and professional. Ensure personnel are knowledgeable and capable of handling emergencies. Ensure guards are trained and certified as required. Oversee access control, visitor screening, patrols, and emergency responses. Conduct inspections, monitor performance, and report to management. Support quality control and contract compliance. Manage weapons procedures and storage on federal property. Provide customer-focused services through effective communication. Qualifications Active Public Trust Tier 2 Security Clearance. FPS A-9 Armed Contract Security Officer certification and supervisory training. Successful completion of medical, physical, and drug screenings. Minimum 5 years’ law enforcement or security experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role. Two years of college or equivalent experience in law enforcement, military, or management. Ability to supervise over 15 armed guards. Fluent in English with strong communication skills. Provide three professional references.
