The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals, but includes exposure to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases. Work outside involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Frequent conference-wide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Work performed indoors is generally with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
TRAVEL: Travel as required by team schedule, as determined by coaching staff, Dean of Athletics, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
