Position Title: Assistant Nurse Manager
Location: Garden City, KS
Shift: Variable schedule – Days, Nights, and Weekends (eligible for shift differentials)
Status: Full-time Permanent

You will guide your team in delivering life-saving care from the skies and on the ground, helping to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a visible, supportive leader who fosters a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Partner with nursing leadership to maintain optimal staffing levels and productivity.
- Ensure operational readiness and compliance with clinical standards.
- Identify staff development needs and champion evidence-based practice.
- Oversee and participate in a rigorous training and orientation program.
- Support hospital and regional initiatives that enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Required:
- 5 years of recent critical care RN experience
- BSN or MSN in Nursing
- Current RN license in state of employment
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and department-specific life support certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred:
- 2 years of previous flight nursing
- 6–12 months of clinical leadership experience
- Certification:
- Certified Flight RN upon hire or within 2 years
- Specialty Nursing Certification within 2 years (must sit for exam within 6 months of hire)
Physical Requirements
- Medium work – ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
