Position Summary:
Persistent Technology Inc (PTI) is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business/Systems Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow applications across the enterprise. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in information technology , Health Informatics, or a related field, and brings 3-5 years of experience analyzing, documenting, and improving business workflows for ServiceNow projects.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine Studio, as well as hands-on experience working with Forms, Tables, and Flow Designer. The analyst will serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring system solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:Gather and analyze business requirements for new or enhanced ServiceNow applications.
Document current-state and future-state workflows, use cases, and process diagrams to support system design and implementation.
Translate business needs into technical requirements for configuration in App Engine Studio, including Forms, Tables, and Flow Designer.
Collaborate with developers and administrators to validate feasibility and align solution design with platform best practices.
Create and maintain functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and test scripts.
Ensure documentation aligns with organizational standards and supports system change management processes.
Work with business units, project managers, and ServiceNow architects to refine requirements and prioritize development tasks.
Facilitate requirements review sessions, workshops, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assist in designing and executing test plans to ensure ServiceNow features meet business and functional requirements.
Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution coordination during testing phases.
Bachelors in IT, Health Informatics, or related field
Excellent writing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to clearly synthesize technical and business information.
