COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Based in the Bay Area, our client is a $30bn+ alternative investment management firm.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is hiring a Chief of Staff who will work directly with the firm's CEO and Executive Committee to help drive strategic initiatives, improve internal communication, and keep the leadership team aligned. Job responsibilities include:
-Lead or support firmwide projects (e.g., offsites, research, new initiatives)
-Keep teams aligned by tracking initiatives, action plans, and progress
-Ensure cross-functional follow-through on strategic priorities
-Prep for key meetings and follow up on action items
-Draft communications and presentations for internal and external use
-Gather and synthesize information across departments
-Help analyze firm metrics or client/investment-related data as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have at least 4 years of relevant experience (investment management, investment banking, management consulting, among others)
-Undergraduate degree required; Open to considering pre-MBA and post-MBA candidates
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Clear and thoughtful communicator, both written and verbal
-Self-motivated and comfortable working in an unstructured, high-expectation environment
-Highest level of discretion and judgment
*Ideal candidate will be in office 5 days per week as the CEO is in the office 5 days per week
