School Faculty - Elementary - Epiphany Catholic School Elementary School Teachers Published: 05/07/2025 Epiphany Catholic School in South Miami, Florida has several openings for qualified Elementary Teachers in first through fifth grades for the upcoming 2025- 2026 school year. Teachers will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program which includes modeling and teaching the Catholic faith across all subject area in the assigned grade. Teachers performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on years of service and certification. Functions include: Use effective methods of evaluation that are directly related to curriculum objectives and to concepts and skills taught; consistently and effectively evaluate student progress. Establish a consistent disciplinary approach which promotes self-direction and positive self-image. Set high standards for student behavior and manage inappropriate behavior effectively. Qualifications: BS / BA Degree in Education. FDOE Teaching certificate in Primary or Elementary Education, temporary or professional required; but considered with a Statement of Eligibility. Able to organize classroom learning and materials to maximize student time on tasks and motivate student learning. Proficiency in using iPads, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Strong and concise oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
