Position Overview

The Event Coordinator will play a key role in designing, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of events at Cure, including but not limited to industry symposiums, networking receptions, educational lectures, and corporate meetings. This position reports to the Conference and Events Manager and sits under the umbrella of the Senior Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement, ensuring alignment with Cure’s mission to foster collaboration and innovation across the healthcare sector.

Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities

· Plan, organize, and execute events from conception through completion, including symposiums, conferences, networking receptions, and special events for residents, external organizations and the broader healthcare community.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify event objectives, themes, and target audiences.

· Manage all event logistics, including and not limited to venue setup, catering, A/V requirements, guest registration, and promotional materials.

· Coordinate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and create proposals for clients.

· Develop event timelines, manage project deliverables, and ensure all milestones are met.

· Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations for on-site events.

· Provide on-site event management, troubleshooting issues as they arise to ensure a seamless attendee experience.

· Analyze event execution and host post-event evaluations with internal team to foster improvement opportunities.

· Support the ongoing development of Cure’s event programming, proposing new ideas that align with the mission and enhance its reputation as a hub for healthcare innovation.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in the healthcare, life sciences, or technology sectors.

· Project Management Experience preferred.

· Demonstrated success managing multiple events simultaneously, from small executive meetings to large-scale conferences.

· Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

· Proficiency with event management software and MS Office Suite.

· Experience with EMS and/or Asana a plus.

· Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives, scientists, entrepreneurs, and sponsors.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, as required by event schedules.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Base salary is dependent on experience with a range of $85,000 – 100,000 annualized. Exemplary benefits package including employer-paid healthcare, in-house café and gym.

Please note that this is an on site position. Cure follows a Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote policy. Hours/Days are subject to change based on event support needs.
