EVENT PRODUCTION COORDINATORXL Event Lab is seeking an event professional to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide back-end support for our various event experiences and work alongside the management team to improve and streamline company procedures and processes. Our CompanyWe design and execute experiences for an expanding base of customers and oversee a portfolio of established events in various markets. These events include The Big Bounce Australia, Amazing Silent Discos and Disco Loco. Selling both to entertainment buyers and directly to the ticket buying public, XL Event Lab typically produces over 500 events in an average year on a global scale. The RoleThe role would suit an ambitious and enthusiastic individual keen to make their mark in the industry with a similarly ambitious company. While the role will be primarily office based the Event Production coordinator may also be required to travel to events as when required by senior management. With this in mind a degree of flexibility in terms of working hours, days and locations is essential for anybody who takes on this role.Primary ResponsibilitiesCommunicating with all senior management and event staff on a daily basis to assess and prioritise event needs.Sourcing and building relationships with event partners.Securing production elements for the company's events across various markets.Providing regular reports on all progress to senior management.Problem solving and troubleshooting any issues which may arise.Assessing and refining processes and procedures and improving efficiencies across the companyRequired QualificationsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast paced environmentAbility to make decisions, work independently and rely on personal initiativeMust be able to to Drive, and preferably have your own vehicleDetailsContractor based roleFull time. Flexible Working HoursWork from home with some work on site at events and at our storage facility in Waterloo. Wage: $1,000 AUD/ per weekLocation: Sydney, NSW
