Summit Valley Services in Amherst is looking for one evening/weekend porter to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. This takes place in Westlake at one location in our cleaning area using the company vehicle. This position includes cleaning outside and inside spaces.

Thursday: 6 pm - 10 pm 
Friday: 6 pm - 10 pm
Saturday: 4 pm - 10 pm
Sunday: 10 am - 6 pm

Job Summary:

The Cleaning Professional will collect trash, refresh public restrooms, maintain offices lobbies and other daily tasks

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property
• Uses a company truck to transport cleaning supplies
• Refreshes bathrooms, including toilets
• Picks up and empties trash containers
• Vacuums and cleans floors
• Stocks paper products and soaps in bathrooms
• In commercial properties, notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
• Must have regular and reliable attendance.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Education and Experience:

• Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15/hour plus incentive bonus

Expected hours: 22 hours per week

Physical Setting:

• Outside businesses, public restrooms, office lobbies and stairwells

Schedule:

• Thu, Fri, Sat, & Sun

Shift availability:
