Position: Facilities Attendant
Location: Fairhope, AL 

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Attendant for a full-time opportunity in Fairhope, AL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The pay is $17 hourly. 

Duties:

• Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
• Carry out floor care tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring that all rooms are stocked appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment when necessary.
• Uphold hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality while performing housekeeping tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to provide exceptional hospitality service.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
