Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a highly-qualified Associate Attorney with significant experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group . This opportunity is available in multiple offices and offers the chance to work at the forefront of pharmaceutical patent law and regulatory strategy.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
- 2+ years of substantive experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation and related regulatory matters .
- Deep knowledge of the Hatch-Waxman Act and familiarity with the pharmaceutical patent landscape .
- Experience drafting legal briefs and managing all phases of fact and expert discovery.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple complex matters in a team-based environment.
- Technical background in chemistry , biology , or a related life sciences field .
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in high-stakes Hatch-Waxman and pharmaceutical patent litigation in federal court .
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to pharmaceutical regulatory law and intellectual property protection.
- Draft, edit, and review legal briefs, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Work closely with experts, co-counsel, and clients to manage discovery and develop case strategy.
- Stay abreast of developments in pharmaceutical law and intellectual property litigation.
- Collaborate with a highly experienced team of litigators to deliver results in complex IP disputes.

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation : includes an expected annual salary range of
$235,000-$435,000 , commensurate with experience, and discretionary performance-based
bonuses .
