We’re looking for a motivated and dynamic Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team at Milford Insurance. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional service while helping clients find the right coverage to meet their needs. You’ll use your insurance knowledge and sales skills to build strong relationships, offer tailored solutions, and grow your book of business. This role requires a proactive approach to outside sales, excellent communication, and confidence in guiding customers through important decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, generate, and convert leads through networking, referrals, cold calls, and events
- Conduct client consultations to assess insurance needs and recommend personalized solutions
- Sell and service a range of products including life, auto, home, and business insurance
- Maintain strong client relationships, assisting with policy updates, renewals, claims, and questions
- Meet and exceed sales goals while keeping accurate records of activities and performance
- Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements
- Promote Milford Insurance through marketing strategies, social media, and community events
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
- Life & Health Insurance License (preferred)
- Proven experience in insurance sales or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and meet goals independently
- Comfortable using CRM systems, quoting tools, and digital communication platforms
- Knowledge of insurance products including auto, home, life, and commercial lines
- Familiarity with the Omaha market and a passion for community engagement
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-person meetings
