Your Responsibilities: Develop innovative paste components using inorganic powders for welding electrodes. Conduct research to enhance the performance and longevity of electrode coatings. Analyze data to optimize performance and material properties. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes. Troubleshoot technical challenges pertaining to inorganic powders in welding applications. Ensure compliance with industry standards for welding electrode manufacturing. Prepare and document technical reports. Stay abreast of advancements in inorganic powder engineering and welding processes. Evaluate and enhance the flow properties of inorganic powders during extrusion. Implement improvements to the paste flow extrusion process. Monitor extrusion parameters for consistent quality and performance. Work closely with process engineers to boost extrusion operation efficiency. Maintain thorough records of work processes and results. Take on additional responsibilities as aligned with the company's strategic goals. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant experience for Level III or 8+ years for Level IV roles. Experience in inorganic powder development and processing, ideally within welding electrode production. Strong knowledge of powder properties and manufacturing techniques, including paste extrusion. Proficiency in engineering methodologies such as DOE, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Effective communication and team collaboration skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering or related area. Experience with advanced inorganic powders for welding applications. Familiarity with welding industry standards and certifications.
