Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neurosurgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County . Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, serving 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Opportunity Details:

• Provide comprehensive medical care, including on-site coverage in the Operating Room, Emergency Room, Wards, and Clinic
• Deliver direct patient care focusing on quality and outcomes
• Supervise, mentor, and guide neurosurgical staff and team members
• Participate in weekly staff conferences, Grand Rounds, QA meetings, M&M conferences, and other departmental meetings
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of Medical Records, Operative Reports, and Quality Improvement documentation
• Maintain high-performance standards within the department
• Perform related work as assigned or directed by the Chief of Service
• Attend departmental meetings and discussions
• Provide coverage for the Neurosurgery Clinic as needed
• Oversee and manage research initiatives within the department

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Certified in Neurosurgery by the ABNS
• Active, unrestricted New York Medical License
• Proficient in Interventional Neuroradiology, with expertise in General and Vascular Neurosurgery
• Pediatric Neurosurgery experience is a plus

Wages and Benefits:

Base Salary: $425,000 annually for a 40-hour week, with additional compensation for extra call or sessional hours. Total estimated annual compensation is approximately $525,000, including sessional/per diem hours, 401(k) contributions, and other benefits.

• Estimated extra earnings for 10 additional hours/week: $65,000
• 401(k) contributions: 3% immediate vesting, increasing to 10% after one year
• CME reimbursement, generous PTO, comprehensive health insurance, life insurance, loan forgiveness options, malpractice coverage, FSAs, pre-tax commuting contributions, and visa sponsorship considerations
