Job Description
Seeking experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for busy OP clinic practice.
Requirements:
* GA license; active and in good standing
* Minimum 2 years Neurology office based experience
Duties:
* Working OP clinic Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, required flexibility with schedule based on clinic volumes; no call requirements
* Effectively identify, evaluate and address prevention and treatment of common neurological problems in general neurology including migraine, Parkinson’s, seizures, MS, dementia, stroke, TIA, neuropathy, radiculopathy, epilepsy, concussion, tremors and other movement disorders
* Collaborate with medical team ensuring the safety of patients when indicated
* Understand and maintain knowledge of neurological diseases, treatments, procedures, including familiarity with indicated medications and non-operative therapies
* Provide education to patients and families
