The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors as they enter the dental office. The role includes scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, updating patient records, collecting payments. The Dental Receptionist must maintain a professional demeanor and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all patients. This position does require some travel. We have 3 offices and you would be expected to travel to all 3 locations. FLUENCY IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH IS A MUST.

Dental Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming appointments
• Manage patient records, update information, and file paperwork
• Collect payments for services rendered and file insurance claims
• Answer calls and respond to patient inquiries and provide information as needed
• Processing auto-payments
• Translating phone calls/doctor exams/consultations

Dental Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
