Project Manager III – Physical Network Infrastructure
Location: Amarillo, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 12 months (contract with potential to convert)
Hours: M–F, 8a–5p (some OT possible)
Travel: 50% within region (company vehicle provided, expenses reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage physical network infrastructure builds ($10K–$5M portfolios)
- Design and oversee installation of fiber optics, cabling, racks, switches, power, cooling
- Conduct field site visits and attend construction/stakeholder meetings
- Red-line design layouts (basic, not highly technical)
- Budget forecasting, estimation, and bid reviews
- Ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards
Top Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years in physical (not logical) network infrastructure project management
- Installed fibers, built communication/RF/radio towers
- Strong communication, self-driven, detail-oriented
Preferred Certifications:
- RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
- BICSI Data Center, Plant or Technician certifications
