**Job Title: Structural Welder (Pulse Arc)** **Location: Newport News, VA Per diem is $140** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Welder with expertise in Pulse Arc welding techniques to join our team. This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in naval shipyard environments, specializing in various welding processes including Pulse Arc Welding (GMAW-P), Stick Welding (SMAW), MIG Welding (GMAW), and Flux-Core Welding. **Responsibilities** + Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW-P processes. + Work efficiently in physically demanding environments such as shipboard, sub-assemblies, and staging areas. + Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations pertinent to the shipbuilding industry. + Utilize air carbon arc gouging techniques and properly use fillet and butt weld gauges. + Pass all position, multi-pass butt weld welder qualification tests according to MIL-STD-248D standards. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW-P welding processes. + Experience in physically demanding environments and working with shipboard sub-assemblies. + Knowledge of OSHA regulations for shipbuilding. + Skill in air carbon arc gouging. + Ability to use fillet and butt weld gauges accurately. **Location: Newport News, VA Per diem is $140** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
