The Protected Communication Systems (PCS) team is hiring
Systems Engineers to support programs for our US military and various international customers, keeping the world safe from foreign threats. PCS supports multiple Collins contracts and is seeking to fill roles across several open contracts - our goal is to align each new hire with a position that best suits their skills and allows for career growth. As a Systems Engineer, you will be a member of an Integrated Program Team (IPT) developing architecture, refining requirements, guiding system development and integration, supporting test development, and working closely with our customers and suppliers to ensure we deliver world class solutions.
What You Will Do • Aid the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation
• Integrate solutions within their target environment
• Execute Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing
• Define and set objectives for area of responsibility
• Analyze and documenting system behaviors
• Support system trade studies, requirements analysis, and allocation to subsystems
• Work with little oversight to solve difficult problems
Qualifications You Must Have • Knowledge of the full Systems Engineering V - from CONOPS development to Sustainment
• Experience with DevOps pipelines operating in both Linux and Windows environments
• Ability to participate in technical discussion with an integrated product team that works in a fast-paced environment

Ability to travel up to 25% per year and flexibility to travel on short notice • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer • Experience with Survivable Mobile Command Center architectures and operations
• Experience working on fielded systems
• Experience with systems support to software and hardware development
• Experience with Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3)
• Experience with computer networking for ground-based, ship, submarine, or airborne platforms
• Experience with and knowledge of scripting
• Active TS/SCI

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
