Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for high-volume recruitment, managing substantial candidate pipelines, and facilitating the hiring of entry-level positions. Additionally, this role provides strategic support to specialty recruitment positions by developing and executing sourcing strategies to identify qualified talent for hard-to-fill roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for high-volume, entry-level, and pipeline positions to support organizational staffing goals.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to forecast and fulfill recruitment needs aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Implement targeted recruitment strategies to improve time to fill, reduce overtime, and minimize agency usage.
  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines by sourcing, screening, and engaging qualified candidates.
  • Conduct candidate assessments, manage the interview process, extend offers, and facilitate successful closures.
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms—including social media and niche job boards—to attract and engage hard-to-fill talent.
  • Leverage existing applicant databases, employee referrals, and passive talent pools to identify top candidates.
  • Expand professional networks to create a steady flow of potential candidates for current and future roles.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously refine sourcing strategies and recommend process improvements.

Experience

Requires 1 to 3 years of related experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field is required.

Skill

Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment. Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
