Cumberland Trust is searching for a Trust Officer - Estates . This position needs an experienced fiduciary professional who will be responsible for the administration of postmortem trust and estate accounts in accordance with the terms of the governing document. You will work closely with our clients through proactive communications and coordinating delivery of services. Using your organizational and time management skills, you will maintain all documentation, process distributions as approved, monitor cash management, and complete account reviews.

Since our goal is to provide high-quality services to our families, you will find yourself with a lower load than is experienced in many traditional estate and trust companies. We will use your expertise on estate and trust law, taxation, distributions, documentation, and assets to assist our clients through this complex estate and trust world. Some travel will be needed for the postmortem administration of estates and trusts.

Requirements:

Here are some of the qualifications for this position:

· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, business, tax, or law

· 3-5 years of working with estate and trust administration

· Knowledge of estate and trusts taxation, fiduciary law, and investment management as it relates to trust administration

· Ability to be organized and detailed while meeting deadlines

· Excellent client relationship skills
