$22.04.
Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm - OT as needed.

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• The ideal Candidate will have the ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
• Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and
• Ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Performs house keeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous knowledge of SAP, one year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification.

Experience:

• 6 months of previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Reach truck experience a plus.

Requirement:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.

Work Environment:

• Job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment.
• Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment.
• This is a full-time position.
• Must have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.
• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
• The position does not require travel.
