Job Description

The Warehouse Manager at Dekko is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role manages staff, optimizes processes, maintains compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensures accurate inventory control to support the company’s supply chain and customer service goals.

What you'll do:

• Plan, organize, and oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure productivity, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) related to efficiency, accuracy, safety, and cost.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Optimize warehouse layout, equipment, and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Oversee maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.).
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and productivity for senior management.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish / English
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification or knowledge of warehouse equipment operations (preferred).

Working Conditions:

• Primarily warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule to support peak operations, including evenings or weekends if required.
