Health Educator PPH-Domestic-Core-IZ Full Time 85115BR Job Summary ***Please note: This is a 1 year contract (we offer full benefits: medical, vision, dental) pension & retirement plans. The Health Educator III plans, develops, implements, and evaluates statewide immunization education and training projects to improve immunization levels. The Health Educator III coordinates statewide immunization education campaigns and strategies with providers, local health departments and agencies serving vulnerable populations, including ethnic/minority community groups. The Health Educator III serves as a technical authority in the area of community health education and health communications. Overall, this position requires creative administrative and organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to function independently and within a team. The incumbent must have a strong background in public health, health communications, familiarity with medical terminolgy and research methods, along with project management skills. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
