Overview Insight Global is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to support our client's work at the shipyard in San Diego, CA. The selected candidate will be working with pipe sleeves, pipe joints and backings, and steel socket joints. Base pay range $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr Day to Day Welds parts in position for fabrication of vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies. Uses carbon electrodes to cut, shape and groove metal. May prepare workplace for welding by cleaning and/or preheating. Examines weld sizes of weld beads. Cleans weld area; sweeps and removes scrap.
