Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Support Professional – AMS opening for our client in Dallas, TX.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 9 months
Duties:
Provide advanced technical support for complex, distributed applications in a production environment.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across application layers.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to resolve incidents and ensure system reliability.
Support deployments and application rollouts within OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex application environments.
Proficiency with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API integrations.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, and Ingress Controllers.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
Ability to analyze and optimize SQL and Oracle database queries.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical support or DevOps roles, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.
Prior experience supporting applications in a cloud-native or containerized environment is highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
