LVN/MA Supervisor

 

We are seeking a compassionate and highly organized Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Medical Assistant (MA) Supervisor to join our care team. In this role, you will be a key liaison between patients, providers and the Program Director, ensuring a seamless care experience from initial contact through ongoing follow-up. You’ll work closely with providers, specialists, and our internal team to deliver personalized support that goes beyond traditional care models. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

• Provide superior customer service to all patients through in-person visits, emails, phone calls, text messaging, and telehealth communication.
• Perform LVN and MA-level clinical tasks, including taking vitals, administering IVs, collecting patient specimens, administering medications and vaccinations, and conducting basic assessments.
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day patient care activities, including care plan implementation.
• Attend offsite medical appointments to provide patient care.
• Oversee patient intake and registration, ensuring all patients are fully checked in before their appointments.
• Support Athena health and MOSAIQ workflows.
• Triage and respond to customer service inquiries across various online platforms.
• Monitor and respond in real time to communications from organization devices and platforms.
• Support various customer service team projects as delegated by the Program Director.
• Collaborate with the care team to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.

 

Qualifications  

• Active LVN and MA license in California required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a supervisor/manager
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; experience in oncology or imaging preferred.
• Strong understanding of EMR platforms; Athena health experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across multiple digital platforms in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage sensitive patient interactions with professionalism and empathy.
• Organized, tech-savvy, and driven by a commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Must be IV Certified.
